Die Bedeutung eines deutschen Beitrages zur Weltraumfahrt

Tasks and objects of the aeronautics are explained at first, and it is shown that there are four leading programs: a scientific program, an economical program, manned space-travel and the military program. All of them utilize the space-travel techniques which may be divided into the three major groups: boosters, space-craft and ground-equipment. Next, numerous examples serve to demonstrate this new technique, which is based on chemical, nuclear and electrical propulsion, energy sources and transformers, contro!, guidance and electronics. The situation in the Federal Republic of Germany is considered next, follow­ ed by a description of the German participation in European programs, such as Eldo, Esro and Eurospace. An active German partnership calls for anational program, explained in detail. A final remark states that the German participation in the space-travel programs is mandatory, shall the technicallevel be maintained at its present height. Resume En introduction, l'auteur expose les missions et les buts de la navigation spatiale et il montre que quatre programmes rangent a la tete, a savoir un programme scientifique, un programme economique, la navigation spatiale avec pilote et le programme militaire. Tous ces programmes se servent de la technique de la navigation spatiale qui peut etre divisee en trois groupes principaux: fusees porteuses, vehicules spatiaux et installations au sol. A l'aide de nombreux exemples, selectionnes dans les domaines de la pro­ pulsion chimique, nucleaire et electrique, sources d'energie et trans formateurs d'energie, guidage et commande et Clectronique, l'auteur presente ensuite cette nouvelle technique.
