Research reports from 25 laboratories working with the brine shrimp Artemia to investigate the patterns of development, the biochemistry and the structure and expression of genes in crustaceans. The 27 full papers and abstracts of another 17 are divided into sections on dormancy and development, cellular and structural aspects, biochemistry, molecular aspects and gene structure, tubulins and hemoglobins, and computer searches.
