Description
(Critical) A complete description of the anatomy of the heart and coronary circulation is presented in this program. Slides of outstanding quality display illustrations from the text which is a hard bound volume of excellent plates and succinct diagrams accompanied by a running description of tha anatomical considerations. The presentation of specimens in frequently used clinical views and the use of lighting techniques to highlight anatomical structures are major strengths of the program. Occasional difficulty with continuity between the descriptive comments and the illustrations is compounded by the use of esoteric terminology. This material is highly recommended for the cardiovascular surgeon and pathologist as well as the cardiologists with an interest in understanding the anatomic considerations in the pathophysiology of disease.
